Program Index

The first worksheet is the Program Index. The user can choose from hyperlinks to quickly move to the worksheet you wish to work on. Each worksheet represents a specific task. The user may choose to; enter the project information; Material dead loads; define the multi-story seismic load distribution; Seismic base shear and lateral diaphragm shear; Applied Wind Loads; and multi-level lateral load distribution in both orthogonal directions.

NOTE: The spreadsheets will be locked to prevent overwriting the tables and formulas in order to protect the integrity if the software. If an error is encountered, the user should contact us though e-mail or this Weblog and the error will be evaluated and corrected. Multi-Lat™ may be modified by the user who is willing to invest time in creation of the program. This may only be done by written request. User’s who wish to assist in the evolution of Multi-Lat™ will receive an unlock code after agreeing in writing to submit all work to the Structuralist for proper beta testing and version update which will be made available for download. User’s who do agree to help will also agree not to release any revisions that have not been authorized by Dennis S. Wish, PE and which have not been submitted for beta testing protocol.

This document is still under construction. Multi-Lat™ is not yet ready for Beta Testing, but those who wish to assist, may receive an alpha version that is not to be used in practice, but to be reviewed for accuracy and to allow the user who assists to help understand the spreadsheet design philosophy.

Please submit all requests to admin@structuralist.net.
